Nexus 6 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Comparison: Review of Specs - Two Evenly Matched Phablets?

The Nexus 6 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 are widely considered as top-of-the-line phablets that are evenly matched in terms of specs and design.
Samsung has gone all out to ensure that the Galaxy Note 4 has the best design elements. The phone has its back panel in faux leather and added a silver rim and the S-Pen stylus. The Nexus 6, in comparison, has a sturdier metal-based back panel which is soft to touch and has a narrow bezel around its display.
However, since the Nexus 6 is bigger and wider than the Galaxy Note 4, it could easily slip out of hands of people if they aren't too careful.
Coming to their displays, the Nexus 6 has a 5.96-inch AMOLED screen that provides a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels and a density of 493 pixels per inch. Compared to this, the Galaxy Note 4 has a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixels and a better pixel density of 515 pixels per inch. The super AMOLED helps the Galaxy Note edge out Nexus 6 in this department as it provides better color saturation and brightness.
When it comes to specs, the Nexus 6 and the Galaxy Note 4 have the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor chip coupled with the Quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450 CPU and Adreno 420 GPU. When it comes to RAM, they also have the same 3GB version.
As for their cameras, the Nexus 6 has a 13 megapixel camera at its rear and a 2 megapixel one in front. Compared to this, the Galaxy Note 4 has a 16-megapixel camera at the back and a 3.7-megapixel camera in front. However, when it comes to low-light shots, the Galaxy Note 4 performs better than the Nexus 6.
Finally comparing the prices of these phones, the Nexus 6 is slightly cheaper at $250 when it is purchased with a contract while the Galaxy Note 4 is priced at $300 with the same two-year contract.
