Nexus 6 vs Moto X2 Comparison: Review of Specs and Price - World Of Difference Despite Similarities
The recently released Nexus 6 and the Moto X2 that debuted earlier in the year were both made by Motorola, but there's a world of difference between them.
To most users, the major difference is going to be in size with the Nexus 6 featuring a huge 6-inch display whereas the Moto X2 has a smaller 5.2-inch display. This bigger display also means that overall the Nexus 6 is much bigger than the Moto X2.

As for resolution, the Nexus 6 at 1440 x 2560 pixels provides a density of 493 pixels per inch, compared to the Moto X2 which has 1080 x 1920 pixels and a density of 423 pixels per inch.
Both devices sport the scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 3 from Corning.
The rear and front facing cameras of both these devices have the same specs, with the rear being 13 megapixels and the front being 2 megapixels.
The casings of both phones are also remarkably similar.
The only notable difference is that the Nexus 6 is bigger than the MotoX2 since it's considered as a true phablet.
The processors on both these devices are different with the Nexus 6 featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 APQ8084 coupled with 3 GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Moto X2 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 8974-AC with 2 GB of RAM. Both have quad core processors, with the Nexus 6 being at 2700 MHz, Krait 450 while the Moto X2 has a 2500 MHz, Krait 400 processor.
The operating system on the Nexus 6 is the new Android 5.0 Lollipop while the Moto X2 runs the Android 4.4 KitKat. However, the Moto X2 will get the Android 5.0 Lollipop once it is rolled out.
A major difference between the two devices is the price. The 16 GB Moto X2 retails at about $550 while the Nexus 6 is currently being offered at $648 without any contract.
