Nexus 6 Release Date, Price: Preorders Commence for Latest Google Phone

The Nexus 6, the latest smartphone from the Google stable, is now available to the public through Sprint in the U.S. Another major US carrier AT&T also stated that they would soon offer the smartphone to customers but as part of a pre-order deal.
Sprint is offering the Nexus 6 at $300 and has coupled it with a standard two-year contract. Those who do not want to avail themselves of the contract can purchase it outright by paying $29 per month over a 24-month period. They will get a service plan at lower cost when compared to that offered in the contract.
AT&T is offering the Nexus 6 as a pre-order. It stated that the smartphone will start shipping out on Nov. 18. The carrier has announced three pricing plans ($22.77, $28.46, $34.15) which mean users get to pay a fixed amount per month and could upgrade their phone within the two-year contract period if they choose to do so.
T-Mobile, however, has not provided any details about the availability of the Nexus 6. It did tweet that the company will soon be offering the Nexus 6 to its subscribers. Verizon Wireless has also stated that it will soon offer the phone to qualified subscribers. It did not mention any more details pertaining to price.
CNET also notes that the Nexus 6 is already available on Google Play where its 32GB version is priced at $649 without any contract.
PC Advisor notes that in the UK the Nexus 6 could be pre-ordered via Google Play since the beginning of this month. Currently the 32 GB version of the device is priced at £499 while the 64 GB version is priced at £549. Additionally those who buy the smartphone anytime before 31st December can subscribe to Google Music unlimited for six months, totally free of charge.
