'New Girl' Season 4 News: Zooey Deschanel Baby Bump Still Hidden
Expecting mom Zooey Deschanel still finds it easy to hide her baby bump as the "New Girl" enters the final stretch of the comedy's fourth season.
But Deschanel admitted she has no idea until when she can go on like this during the filming of the comedy series.
"It's hard to know until we finish the season. Right now, I'm only showing a little bit, so it's pretty easy to still hide in clothes," Deschanel said in an interview, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"Maybe, eventually, I'll have to stand behind a couch or walk around carrying a purse," she quipped.
The quirky actress said the extent of how much she'll have to conceal her pregnancy remains up in the air until filming is completed in a few weeks.
A lot of big news has come out of the "New Girl" lately after the show's creators bid adieu to comedy actor Damon Wayans Jr at the season's end.
Deschanel made the statement after she told People that she is pregnant. "Jacob and I are over the moon. We are so excited to meet our little one," Deschanel said, according to Classicalite.
Deschanel is reportedly engaged to Jacob Pechenik.
While this will be Zooey's first child, it will not be her first marriage since she divorced Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard in 2012.
The official plot synopsis for the Feb. 24 episode of "New Girl," titled "Oregon," reads: "It's a rocky ride down memory lane when Jess and the crew return to her childhood hometown of Portland, Ore., for her father's wedding."
