'NCIS' season 14 spoilers, news: Torres breaks protocol in episode 7, Michael Weatherly pitches 'NCIS' and 'Bull' crossover

Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) breaks protocol after discovering that a witness is wanted by the U.S. Immigration in the upcoming episode of "NCIS" season 14.
Titled "Home of the Brave," next week's episode will feature one agent go out of his way to find the truth. According to the official synopsis for episode 7, Torres brazenly breaks protocol on a case when he discovers that an important witness is wanted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Elsewhere, Abby, Bishop and McGee attempt to woo landlord Tony DiNozzo Sr. (Robert Wagner) in the hope of subletting Tony's (former cast member Michael Weatherly) apartment.
Weatherly left the series prior to season 14 to explore new horizons and focus on a new series titled "Bull." Speaking with TV Guide, the actor pitched a crossover idea that involves his "NCIS" character Tony DiNozzo making an appearance n his current TV show.
"Might be interesting to actually have Tony be on 'Bull,'" he said. "Think about it. We do one of those split-screen-Hayley Mills-Parent Trap things. But Bull's got glasses on, and he's like, 'Hey, we look a lot like each other.' And then DiNozzo's like, 'No, I'm stronger than you.' And then Bull's like, 'Well, I think I'm thinner than you.'"
On another note, the series had a major behind-the-scene shakeup after the unexpected death of executive producer Gary Glasberg back in September. CBS has now appointed new bosses to helm the program: longtime "NCIS" producers George Schenck and Frank Carde.
The two producers have been with "NCIS" since season 1 and they have written more than 50 episodes for the show together. Writing partners since 1977, Carde and Schenck have also created and executive-produced several other programs over the years, including "Bring 'Em Back Alive," and "Crazy Like a Fox."
Tune in to "NCIS" season 14 every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
