'NCIS' season 14 spoilers, news: Team probes on marine sergeant's tragic fall, Torres searches for place to live in episode 3, stars react to EP Gary Glassberg's death

A doctor risks breaking patient confidentiality after one of her patients falls from a building in an upcoming episode of hit CBS procedural "NCIS" season 14.
Titled "Privileged Information," next week's episode will see the NCIS team probe on a marine sergeant's tragic fall from a building. The case takes a different turn when the victim's doctor, Grace Confalone (guest star Laura San Giacomo), talks to Gibbs and suggests he treat it as a murder investigation. Also, newcomer Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) begins searching for a place to live.
On another note, the cast and crew are in mourning after the show's beloved executive producer Gary Glassberg passed away in his sleep last Wednesday, Sept. 28. "Gary was our rock, our cheerleader, our team captain. He inspired us with his leadership, his creative instincts and keen insight. NCIS will not be the same without him, and each of us will miss his smiling face and unwavering humor, which lifted us every day," reads the statement from the "NCIS" cast and crew.
Through social media, the stars also expressed their shock and sadness over Glassberg's passing. "What sad a day this is. Gary Glasberg was a gentle man and gentleman loved by so many people. Send your love to his family," former "NCIS" star Michael Weatherly posted via Twitter.
"Our hearts are collectively broken. Our #NCIS show runner and boss Gary Glasberg has passed away. In shock and sadness. There are no words," tweets Pauley Perrette, who plays Abby Sciuto on the show.
Glassberg, who died at 50, had signed a three-year overall deal with NCIS producers CBS Television Studios that would have kept him as executive producer until 2019. He is survived by his wife TV producer and screenwriter Mimi Schmir and their two sons, Dash and Eli.
The 14th season of "NCIS" airs every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
