'NCIS' Season 12 Episode 9 Spoilers: Thanksgiving Sees Terrorists At Airport

These are very dangerous times the world is living in right now. The most horrifying events of all have to do with terrorism. On Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 8 p.m., the popular and long running CBS TV series, "NCIS" will devote a huge part of Season 12's Episode 9 to featuring a terrorist threat that takes place in an airport.

The setting is Dulles airport, and the prevailing mood at the airport is one of happy expectations because of Thanksgiving. People are traveling across the country to be with their loved ones, unaware that their lives could be cut short at any time because of a terrorist situation.

This premise assures that "Grounded' will be full of tension and heart-pounding scenes as Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham), Ellie's husband Jake (Jamie Bamber) and Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo (Michael Wetherly) face a terrible situation.

CBS recently released the new official synopsis/spoilers for their upcoming "NCIS" Episode 9 of Season 12. In the episode titled "Grounded," things will get extremely intense as Bishop and Tony are forced to handle a terrorist situation while at the airport.

In the new, 9th Episode press release: Surrounded by Thanksgiving travelers at Dulles airport, Dinozzo and Bishop's husband are going to work a case involving an elevated terrorist threat. Press release number 2: While stuck at the Dulles airport due to inclement weather, DiNozzo, Bishop and her husband Jake will work an NCIS case involving an elevated terrorist threat at Northeast airports during the Thanksgiving travel surge. Jamie Bamber guest stars as Bishop's husband, NSA Attorney Jake Malloy.

The episode was written by Scott Williams, and it was directed by Bethany Rooney. Episode 9 is set to air on Tuesday night, Nov. 25th at 7 p.m. central time on CBS.
