'NCIS: New Orleans' season 3 news, cast rumors: Series films explosive episode in Harahan; Vanessa Ferlito talks tension between Percy and Tammy

After "NCIS: New Orleans" officially returned to the small screen last Tuesday, the cast and crew are still hard at work filming for the rest of the third season.
As reported by The Times-Picayune, the series will be shooting some scenes in Harahan, Louisiana on Thursday and Monday (Sept. 22 and 26). The CBS spin-off series will be filming in the New Orleans suburb over the next few days, and officials are warning residents that the production could get loud, particularly the sequence on Sept. 22. It will be filmed between noon and 8 p.m., and the scene will include a variety of special effects explosions. To monitor the shoot, local fire and police officials will be present as well.
Meanwhile, the show's latest addition Vanessa Ferlito recently caught up with Yahoo TV to talk about her role as FBI agent Tammy Gregorio. Since her arrival is unexpected, there are some members of the team who are not happy to see her. With the idea of a stranger getting up in the team's business, Tammy's investigation will lead to friction with other agents—Percy (Shalita Grant) in particular. "I don't know what her deal is with Tammy, maybe it's a girl/girl territory thing?" she asked. "But Pride is so lenient with her. I feel like he is very intuitive, that he knows Tammy is a good agent who is probably going to get really comfortable here and fit in well with them."
As the season progresses, fans will see that there's more to Tammy's character than meets the eye. Although she appears to have a tough shell and always does things by the book, the succeeding episodes will reveal that she also has flaws -- including a tragic secret which will soon be revealed.
"Around Episode 5, you'll start to see a vulnerable side to her," Ferlito told TV Guide. "Pride knows what it's all about." In the season 3 premiere, Tammy already dropped a clue by saying this isn't her first time being in New Orleans.
If you listen closely in the premiere, she drops a clue: This isn't her first time in New Orleans.
