'NCIS: Los Angeles' season 8 episode 6 spoilers: Team investigates dangerous maintenance man; Sam decides which colleague to take to the football game

An ordinary maintenance man's secret past puts a local teenager's life in danger in the upcoming episode of the hit CBS procedural spinoff "NCIS Los Angeles" season 8.
Titled "Home Is Where the Heart Is," next week's episode will explore a complicated case involving a secret backstory. According to the official synopsis for episode 6, a maintenance man saves the life of a lieutenant commander, but the NCIS team will uncover his dark past that might put a local teenager's life in danger. Meanwhile, Sam (LL Cool J) is forced to decide which colleague to take to the Los Angeles football game.
In the episode last week, "Densi" fans were finally able to breathe a sigh of relief after Kensi (Daniela Ruah) woke up from her coma, with Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) by her side. However, the hard part is certainly far from over. In a recent interview with TV Guide, Olsen revealed what's next for Kensi and what her road to recovery will be like.
"I know that it's a long road to recovery for her," he said. "At the end of the day, I think we're gonna get her back 100 percent physically, but there's no way to go through these types of things unscathed as far as what it's done to their psyche. When we look at those kinds of events, when Deeks was tortured, how that affected him. We look at Kensi's torture and how that affected her in Afghanistan. This is one more thing that will play a large role and, I think, drive these two characters together."
As for the coming episodes, Olsen hinted that the series will further explore the mole investigation led by Sam. He is still in the process of learning more about the mole in prison, and Olsen teased that there are some "great scenes" as the probe continues. Viewers will soon see how it's a much larger storyline than just him. "He [mole] kind of sold himself as a one-off, and of course, like all things, once you start pulling a thread, you reveal that the sweater is much larger and there's a looming conspiracy at hand," he continued. "So we get into all that stuff in the next few episodes."
