Despite being unbeaten so far this season, the Cleveland Cavaliers are still surely eyeing ways to improve their squad. The defending champions have taken the NBA by storm and are looking every bit like the kings that everyone saw them become in the NBA Finals last year.

Still led by LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, the Cavaliers are such a strong and deep team. Still, rumors are circulating that the Cavs may be making a change soon.

This time, talks revolve around J.R. Smith and he is linked to be on the way out of the team as they try to bring in Eric Bledsoe of the Phoenix Suns.

If this becomes official, then the Cavaliers may be a completely different team as Bledsoe brings something else to the table.

Smith is more of an outside shooter and his averages are around 13.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. However, what is not seen on the stat line is that he is unpredictable and can explode at any moment in the game.

One of the more streaky shooters in the league, Smith can chain a number of shots together to help the team come back from a deficit or just extend their lead.

On the other hand, Bledsoe is a more methodical player. He is a threat from the outside, but he can use his bulk and power to drive inside.

More of a point guard, Bledsoe has youth on his side as he is only 26 years old. He can still develop and learn a lot more if he was surrounded by star athletes like James and Irving.

The trade would definitely be a big hit for other teams as they now have to adjust to a new threat in the Cavs offense. It should be interesting to see how Bledsoe fits with what the Cavaliers have at the moment.
