NBA trade news: San Antonio Spurs' Manu Ginobili plays one more year
With the departure of Tim Duncan, the "Big Three" era of the San Antonio Spurs is officially done.
However, Tony Parker is still playing and, most recently, the third member signed a one-year deal to keep playing for the Spurs.
According to Real GM, Manu Ginobili agreed to sign a $14 million deal that is good for the coming season of the NBA.

While many question the effectiveness of Ginobili late in his career, the shooting guard still has some games left in him and can show his best performances in spurts with the team.
Already entering his 15th year in the league, Ginobili averaged less than 10 points per game for the first time since his rookie season.
However, the two-time All-Star still averages 14.0 points per game in his career and is a 45 percent shooter which makes him reliable. The Spurs also always have use for him off the bench.
Outside of the Spurs, Ginobili was also approached by the Philadelphia 76ers for a two-year deal worth $30 million which the Argentine obviously declined.
This shows his respect and loyalty for the club that drafted him back in the 2002-03 season when he came into the NBA as a rookie at 25 years old.
Picked in the second round and 28th overall, Ginobili turned out to be a great piece in the puzzle of the Spurs, as he has won four NBA titles as a result and has one of the better careers in the Spurs' history.
His $14 million contract is the best he's had in his career, as Ginobili only reached the same mark back in the 2012-13 season. He has only reached over $10 million in four seasons, between the 2009-10 and 2012-13 seasons.
Last year, Ginobili only had $2.8 million which gave way to the arrival of LaMarcus Aldridge to the team as they tried to chase a championship.
