'NBA 2KVR Experience' release date, news and update: 2K Games releases title to Samsung Gear VR, PlayStation VR and HTC Vive

Take-Two Interactive and 2K Games have officially upped their respective offerings in the now increasingly addictive world of basketball and virtual reality (VR) as they both released to the gaming world the "NBA 2KVR Experience" on leading devices like Samsung Gear VR, PlayStation VR and HTC Vive for $14.99. The entry was given a worldwide release on Nov. 22, 2016.
Among the included perks once the game is purchased are an array of mini games such as the 3-point shooting, skill challenge and buzzer beater, among others. Notably, the game is retailed twice as much as similar offerings such as "NBA 2K17" on Android and iOS but as the VR phenomenon has just commenced, the price tag is quite understandable.
Meanwhile, the players will be accompanied accordingly by Paul George of the Indiana Pacers who is also the cover player of "NBA 2K17's" standard edition. On the other hand, George won't be around as an in-game model albeit his narration and instructions will hover during the game as guidance.
As per Take-Two Interactive's official website, "NBA 2KVR Experience" will serve as the first virtual reality basketball game. As such, the iteration will enable the players to immerse in a new and more entertaining NBA environment. Furthermore, the game will be infused with numerous visuals along with mini-games and challenges for players to experience.
Greg Thomas, the president of Visual Concepts, has added that his team has always been on the lookout for new methods to be tried and introduced on in order for the gamers to have a distinct experience with the current release and the succeeding entries in the future.
