'NBA 2K17' cheats, tips and tricks 2016: How to get locker codes and how to redeem them
Visual Concepts' basketball simulation video game "NBA 2K17" is now ready to be played by its eager fans. The game is currently available on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation, PlayStation 3 and on Windows PC.
2K Sports recently revealed a few tricks for unlocking locker codes. These particular codes are used to unlock features in the game that aren't readily available once the game starts.
2K announced that players can get a locker code by buying Ruffles chips at Walmart. For players who are interested in acquiring these codes, gamers need to buy the game and two bags of chips between Sept. 10 and Oct. 2.
To note, all of the items must be purchased from Walmart. Players will get 5,000 VC and two jump packs of park cards. The content, however, will only be available for the PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
Gamers need to present proof that an NBA 2K17 game and the Ruffles chips were purchased during the specified time frame. The items do not have to submit a single receipt purchase. Gamers can consolidate their receipts and present a photo of it all together. Once players have snapped a picture of proof, it should be emailed to RufflesNBA2K17@2k.com.
Players should make haste because the promo ends on Nov. 15, at 11:59 p.m. Each player is entitled to 10 submissions.
To redeem a locker code, players need to click the Options/Features button in the main menu. Then they need to choose the locker codes option and enter the particular code that they want to redeem.
The game will be released in three versions, namely, the Kobe Bryant Legend Edition Gold, the Kobe Bryant Legend Edition, and the base game. The Legend Editions can go for up to $100 dollars which is quite expensive compared to the $60-dollar price of the base game.
