'Naruto Shippuden' news, spoilers: All filler episodes in April dedicated to Itachi; Series going back to Naruto's fight in May

Followers of the popular anime series "Naruto Shippuden" may have already noticed that the previous episodes veered away from the show's original source material, which is the "Naruto" manga series. Since the manga version already concluded last year, "Naruto Shippuden" has still managed to be airing with several filler episodes. Recently, the fillers are about the story of Uchiha Itachi. While an episode filler is something a long-time anime fan has always resented, most "Naruto" fans seem to be contented with the Itachi arc.

According to the episode schedule posted in the Saiyan Island website, the whole month of April will see episodes of "Naruto Shippuden" that are still focused on Itachi. His story was re-told in the series, from the time the Uchiha clan was wrongly accused of the Nine-Tailed Fox attack on Konoha, the massacre of their entire clan, until his involvement in Akatsuki Group.

The upcoming episode of "Naruto Shippuden" on April 21 is titled "Partner" which is a direct continuation of the previous episode. It seems like it will take more episodes before the story of Itachi comes to a conclusion. It is only on May 5 when the series will go back to its main plot.

According to the episode schedule, the May 5 episode is titled "Incipient." For those who are very familiar with the "Naruto" manga series, the title of Chapter 679 is also "Incipient," which means that the anime series will once again cover the events in the manga.

To note, the last original content shown in the anime series is when Uchiha Madara activated the Infinite Tsukuyomi, which put almost everyone into a deep sleep and bounded to the Chakra Tree. As the series return to the original course of the story, Naruto and Sasuke will once again face Madara in a final showdown. However, as manga followers would recall, the "Incipient" chapter also revealed the surprising downfall of Madara as the original proprietor of Chakra, Otsutsuki Kaguya, will emerge.
