'Naruto Shippuden' Episode 469 spoilers news: Anime series going back to Naruto and Sasuke vs. Kaguya after this week's episode

According to the latest rumors, the upcoming Episode 469 of "Naruto Shippuden" might be the last filler episode of the anime series. For the past few episodes of the hit TV show, it has featured filler chapters or stories that are not canon to the original "Naruto" manga series from which the TV series is based on. It is now reported that Episode 469 could be the "turning point" of the show whereas the episode after it will again feature the ongoing battle of Naruto and Sasuke against Kaguya Otsutsuki, the progenitor of all chakra.
To recap, Episode 468 of "Naruto Shippuden" finally revealed the successor of the Sage of Six Paths, and it was none other than his youngest son, Ashura. The Sage believes that Ashura has the ability to lead Ninshu and its followers to the right direction, promoting peace and unity instead of war. Even though his youngest child is not as gifted in terms of fighting skills as his eldest son, Indra, Ashura has the will of fire to do what is best for the people.
Unfortunately, Hagoromo's decision was not taken lightly by Indra, and the Sage of Six Paths was even challenged by his own son o a duel. Indra was embittered by the fact that Ashura is an inferior warrior compared to him, and he believes that his father just preferred his younger brother over him for some unfair reasons. This caused Indra to awaken his hidden eye techniques and threatened to destroy the entire Ninshu.
The battle of Ashura and Indra will be featured in the upcoming episode of "Naruto Shippuden" this week, although many fans still wish that the anime series will return to its original storyline soon. The actual timeline of the series is on the present battle of Naruto against Kaguya, who imprisoned Sasuke on a different dimension. Game FAQs reported that the series have shown too many filler episodes over the canon ones, causing many fans to be disappointed. Fortunately, the next episode after this week will revisit the current war against the main villain of the series.
