'Naruto Shippuden' Episode 468 spoilers news: Indra to challenge Sage of Six Paths, Ashura

The upcoming Episode 468 of "Naruto Shippuden" will finally name the successor of the Sage of Six Paths. The Sage believes that this person has the ability to lead Ninshu and its followers to the right direction, promoting peace and unity instead of war. However, Hagoromo's decision will not be taken lightly by one of his children. The Sage of Six Path's son will challenge his own father and brother to a duel as he will be very disappointed by his loss.

For those who are already familiar with the original "Naruto" manga series, they would know that Ashura will be chosen as the Sage of Six Path's successor. However, Indra will be maddened by his father's decision, as he believes that his power and skills are far more superior than his younger brother, Ashura. Hagoromo's youngest son, on the other hand, may not be as competitive and does not have the same visual prowess as his brother, but he has the heart and perseverance to do what is good for everyone. It is expected that the next episode of "Naruto Shippuden" will finally see Indra unleashing his dark persona, even challenging his own father and brother to a fight.

But power without bonds will surely bring calamity to this world. Next time on 'Naruto Shippuden': 'The Successor' from here on out, I entrust my power to you," the translated synopsis of "Naruto Shippuden" episode 468 reads, as quoted by Yibada. The new episode will be out on July 21, Thursday.

In the previous episode titled "Ashura's Decision," the two brothers returned home to report to their father about their journey. Ashura's journey was focused as he never gave up on digging a well out of a barren land affected by Kaguya's battle against his children. It took one year for Ashura to fix the problem, but he was able to bring in more followers of Ninshu. 

The rivalry of Indra and Ashura is expected to last for many generations, as their incarnations will continue to fight each other. The most recent incarnations of the two are Sasuke and Naruto.
