Arturo Castro ("Broad City") and Kerry Bishé ("Halt and Catch Fire") are the latest additions to the growing number of cast members for "Narcos" season 3.

According to Deadline, the two actors recently joined the program as series regulars. Bishé will play the role of Christina, an ordinary American woman married to a Colombian man who gets deeper involved in the cartel business. When she realizes that things are starting to go badly for everyone around them, she decides to ask the US Embassy for help. Castro will portray William Rodriguez, Miguel's oldest son. Despite being reluctant to become the leader at first, he is forced to take over after his uncle and father are arrested.

Also coming on board as season 3 regulars are "Cloverfield" Michael Stahl-David and New Zealand actor Matt Whelan ("Go Girls"). As noted by Slash Film, Stahl-David will be playing young DEA agent Chris Feistl,  who is more serious and straight-edge. Whelan, on the other hand, is slated to play the role of his partner, Daniel Van Ness.

Filming for the upcoming season commenced last week, and the series marked the event by releasing the first promotional photo for season 3. It also confirmed the return of actor Pedro Pascal as DEA Agent Javier Pena. In the image, Pena appears to be preparing to speak in front of a crowd, presumably either to report on the death of Escobar or give details on the Cali Cartel, their new enemies. "The blow must go on. Pablo might be dead but the war is not over. Season 3 of #Narcos has begun filming," the caption reads. It has yet to be announced if Boyd Holbrook, who plays Pena's partner Steve Murphy, will be back for third season.

"Narcos" season 3 premieres on 2017, but Netflix has yet to announce a definitive release date.
