New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's daughter was reportedly rushed to the hospital Wednesday after being found unconscious at her mother's house in Westchester, New York.

The 17-year-old, Cuomo's youngest daughter, was reportedly found unconscious at the home of her mother, Kerry Kennedy, the daughter of former U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy, brother to former U.S. President John F. Kennedy. Kerry Kennedy and Andrew Cuomo share three daughters together, and divorced in 2003 after 13 years of marriage.

"I can verify we responded to a residence on Chestnut Ridge Road on March 18 at approximately 4:46 p.m. and transported one female to Westchester Medical Center by Bedford Fire Volunteer Ambulance," the Bedford Police Department told People Magazine in a statement this week.

According to Us Weekly, Michaela was only briefly hospitalized before being released.

The governor's office has reportedly declined to comment on the incident, and it remains unclear what caused the 17-year-old to lose consciousness at her mother's home.

Michaela has reportedly become more politically active in recent years, including starting a campaign to raise awareness for sexual assault by selling t-shirts that read: "my having a good a-- does not give you a right to be one.'"

According to the New York Daily News, the proceeds from the shirt sales went to the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights.

Michaela reportedly has two sisters, 20-year-old twins named Cara and Mariah. Her father, New York's governor, lives with his longtime girlfriend, television chef Sandra Lee. The couple have been dating since 2005.
