'Mr. Robot' season 2 spoilers, renewal news: Darlene makes difficult decision; USA greenlights early renewal for series

Fsociety releases a video while Darlene decides to act on an old desire in the upcoming episode of USA network's top-rating suspense drama "Mr. Robot" season 2.
Titled "eps2.6succ3ss0r.p12," next week's episode will see the notorious fsociety unveil an unexpected video. Elliot (Rami Malek) will begin to understand the consequences of a power vacuum while fsociety faces another complication. Meanwhile, Darlene (Carly Chaikin) is forced to make a difficult decision. Further details about the plot remain under wraps but the recently-released promo trailer hints an intense episode ahead. The members of fsociety appear to be facing a huge problem, with the final moments of the teaser showing a frustrated Darlene saying: "Keep it together."
On another note, the critically-acclaimed drama recently earned an early renewal from the network. Having passed the second season's midway point, "Mr. Robot" has been confirmed to have a third season which is expected to air next year.
The psychological thriller is currently nominated for six Emmys including Best Drama and Lead Actor for Malek. To date, the program has already garnered three Critics' Choice Awards, one Peabody Award, two Golden Globes and a Writers Guild Award.
"Midway through its second season, 'Mr. Robot' continues to break new ground and open up new opportunities for the network.," NBC Universal Cable entertainment president Chris McCumber told TV Line. "We can't wait to see where [series creator] Sam Esmail and the entire brilliant 'Robot' team take us next."
Execs previously confirmed during this year's San Diego Comic-Con that the hacker series will have its first tie-in book. According to Entertainment Weekly, "MR. ROBOT: Red Wheelbarrow" published by Abrams Books will hit the shelves on Nov. 1. The book is a version of Elliot's personal journal wherein viewers can find clues about season 2 and the hacker's future. Penned by series creator Sam Esmail and writer Courtney Looney, the book will have seven detachable artifacts which will give fans an insight on the lead character's fractured personality
