The Motorola Moto X 2016 has been one of the most talked about smartphones circulating all over the Internet today. With its new leaked images emerging online, fans could not wait for the company to make it official.

According to the leaked information, the upcoming flagship smartphone from the Lenovo acquired company will sport a 5.5-inch display with a curved-edge design. A home button below the screen is also visible on the leaked image, which is believed have a fingerprint sensor.

According to a report by Mobi Picker, the display of the handset will have an AMOLED technology, which will also feature the company's Shattershield protection.

The leaked photos, which has a message that says "Motorola confidential property not for sale," is said to have come from a source who is currently working in the company.

Motorola has yet to provide an official statement with regard to the said images; however, many fans believe that there is legitimacy to this report.

Meanwhile, India Today reported that the Moto X 2016 will come in two variants, which have codenames, Vertex and Vector. According to the publication, the Vertex will compete with the regular smartphone in the market today, while the Vector is said to be a premium variant. Analysts are saying that Vector has a potential to be a very expensive device. There are reports suggesting that the premium model may have a price tag that will start at $750.

Rumor has it that the specs of the device under the hood will be headed by Snapdragon 820 from Qualcomm, which is said to have a clocking speed of 3GZ for the high-end model. The Vertex is said to run Snapdragon 625.

As of the moment, fans should take these pieces of information with a grain of salt until the company decides to release the official details of the game. Also, there is no release date reported for now.
