Motorola's Moto Z Play is one of the most anticipated smartphone releases this year. The alleged new leaked details revealed that the Moto Z Play will carry Moto Mod pin connectors and a new fingerprint sensor. Basing on the photos, it appears that Motorola has done significant changes in its design. According to Nashville Chatter, the new smartphone seems to have a glossy finish, which is different from the metallic design of its predecessor.
The Android smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch screen with AMOLED panel for better lighting. However, the device does not have an advanced display technology as it will only have the 1080p resolution. Many people have expected Motorola to at least bring the 2K technology on its future releases. According to reports, the device will also carry a better battery system compared to its predecessor.
In a report by BGR, the upcoming smartphone will run on a Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM. According to the publication, the device will come out with a pre-installed Android Marshmallow; however, the company is said to be developing an upgraded version of Moto Z Play, which will carry the latest Google mobile operating system, the Android Nougat.
Meanwhile, the new Moto Z Play is said to retain the standard 3.5 mm jack and will be sold at around $300 once it hits the shelves.
