Moto X4 2016 release date and specs rumors: New flagship smartphone to be released on Aug. 24?

Rumors of the upcoming Motorola flagship smartphone, Moto X4 2016 has continued to spread all over the Internet. New report shows an image of the said device on the company's Google Plus account, HelloMotoHK. The post on the social media platform also hinted an Aug. 24 launching of the smartphone.
The image shows the new Moto X4 with an aluminum build and a glass front. It shows the physical home button of the device with black dots on each side – it could be an IR feature, according to some reports.
There are speculations that the Lenovo acquired company may have finally decided to add a user security feature through fingerprint sensor on the upcoming smartphone. On the other sides of the device also show other control buttons such as volume and power.
What's interesting is its circular camera, which looks the same as the Moto 360 with dual LED flash. According to some people, the impressive snapper appears to have camera sensor including auto-focus. The upcoming Moto X4 2016 looks like it will house USB Type-C port; however, tech freaks must wait for the company to confirm the rumors as it still remains to be seen.
The USB Type-C port has been used by Apple on their devices to transfer data and power. It appears that Motorola and Lenovo are trying to manufacture a device that can compete well in the tight tech market today.
Meanwhile, Android Headlines reported that the upcoming flagship smartphone will have a 5.5 AMOLED screen. It will run on a Snapdragon 820 processor by Qualcomm, which clocked at 2.0GHz.
