Moto X 2016 release date, specs news: Lenovo to launch new smartphone on June 9?
According to the latest rumors, the Lenovo-owned Motorola brand will launch the latest Moto X model next month. Moto users who are following the developments of the new Moto device may not have to wait longer as the Moto X 2016 is expected to hit the markets as early as June 9. Also, the public can expect at least two variants of the new Moto X design upon its release.
According to India Today, Lenovo has prepared two variants of Moto X 2016 where one is expected to be the superior model. The two Moto X devices will be codenamed Vertex and Vector. Between the two, Vertex will be the regular type of device or the base model while Vector will be the superior variant. As Vector is expected to sport all the cutting-edge technology in the electronics world today, analysts have predicted this variant to sport a huge price tag as well.
Lenovo is reportedly setting up the new Moto X 2016 variants as the leading devices in the smartphone industry. To make this possible, premium parts were considered in developing the gadgets and the public can expect a costly $750 price for the premium Moto X 2016 model.
Some of the reported specs considered by Lenovo to include in the Moto X 2016 build are the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and the Snapdragon 625. The Snapdragon 820 processor is expected to power up the Vector, running at a clock speed of 3 GHz. Meanwhile, the Vertex will be using the Snapdragon 625 as its processor which will run at a speed of 2.4 GHz.
The camera features of the new Moto X 2016 devices are also impressive if the rumors are correct. The future users of the superior Vector model can enjoy a worthwhile photo and video capturing experience with a 13-MP camera enhanced by optical image stabilization feature. Meanwhile, the Vertex variant will have a 16-MP camera which is not a bad deal, although photo capturing will have no aid from optical image stabilization.
