Moto 360 Review: Tips For Getting The Most Out Of Your Moto 360

With a smartwatch like the Moto 360 on your wrist, you can get notifications and do much more without glancing at your phone or phablet. Here's how you can go about getting the most out of your Moto 360.
As the Moto 360 comes with Android Wear, it helps with the transmission of notifications from various apps on your Android device to the watch. If given permission, the Moto 360 will display notifications regarding emails, tweets and messages. In case these become too much, you can block certain apps from sending notifications to the watch and let them remain on your phone. You can set this up on you phone by navigating to Android Wear> Settings> Mute App Notifications and blocking specific apps.
Turning off vibration on the Moto 360 when certain notifications arrive is also possible by pressing the mute button which is present at the bottom of the watch screen.
Saving battery life on the Moto 360 is a priority for most users. By turning off the display on the watch's screen when it is not in use you can ensure the charge lasts longer. To do this navigate to Apps > Android Wear, and then switch the "screen always on" setting off.
The Moto 360 also allows for the use of voice commands and you just have to say "Ok Google" to activate it. Then you can provide the device with instructions to send a text message or ask it for directions to go to a certain place. In the case of directions, the watch can provide detailed instructions to get from one point to another.
With the watch in constant contact with your phone, you can opt to get all your notifications on it and mute phone. To do this, navigate to the Android Wear app then go to Settings> Silence connected phone option and tap on it. If you select this option, whenever your Moto 360 smartwatch is turned on, your phone will automatically be muted.
