'Mortal Kombat X' September 2016 Bundlefest release date, price news: Up to 98% discounts
The world's leading digital game retailer Bundle Stars recently announced the lineup for the September Bundlefest 2016 and "Mortal Kombat X" is one of the titles on the list. Furthermore, co-creator Ed Boon revealed that NetherRealm Studios will be releasing a new patch soon.

The retail giant is going to offer bundles up to 98% off. Bundlefest will offer the following titles: "Batman," "Shadow of Mordor," "Jackbox" and "Mortal Kombat X." Last Monday, Sept. 12, the retailer announced through a press release that they will be revealing bundles every day of the week until Friday, Sept. 16.
The September Bundlefest will offer the "Mortal Kombat X Brutality Bundle" for $16.99 and $19.99. Gamers who will buy the $16.99 bundle will get the video game and 14 downloadable content (DLC) packs. On the other hand, the $19.99 bundle will contain the video game and 15 DLC packs. From $39.99, the premium edition of the game will be available for $9.99. Meanwhile, Bundle Star will offer the $29.99 regular package of the game during the September Bundlefest for $7.49
Video game developer NetherRealm Studios already confirmed that they will be releasing an update next month. Boon turned to Twitter to announce the new patch. He tweeted, "MKXL players! We WILL soon release a gameplay balance patch & ideally would like to target its release along with the PC launch of MKXL." The patch will reportedly be made available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. However, the company has not revealed any further details about the game.
Boon announced that the PC version of the game will also have a new balancing patch. The co-creator further revealed that they will be launching another pod cast called Kombat Kast so fans can receive the latest information about the game.
Boon tweeted, "We are also planning a new Kombat Kast to go over in detail the changes & improvements that will be koming."
