Game fanatics in the United States and Europe have been waiting for the official release of Capcom's new fantasy action role-playing game (ARPG) "Monster Hunter Generations." Initially released in Japan on Nov. 28 last year, the latest video game offering from Capcom is confirmed to hit the digital markets in the West this coming summer, although the exact release date is still not yet confirmed. To further excite the "Monster Hunter" fans, Capcom recently released a teaser video which shows all of the new creatures and environment in the game series, as well as the four new hunting styles to be introduced in the game.

iDigital Times reported that the players will be able to learn and master new skills in "Monster Hunter Generations" that can be used to fight the new threats. The Styles and Hunter Arts in the upcoming video game are first in the series which will allow more thrilling visuals and realistic playing styles for each individual player. The new different hunting styles the players can expect are the Aerial Style, Guild Style, Adept Style, and Striker Style. Each style offers a distinct strategy to fight a particular kind of enemy and give players an access to different Hunter Arts, special combat techniques, and power-ups that can be initiated during a fight by tapping the button when charged, making it easier for the player to perform various special moves.

The "Monster Hunter Generations" trailer gives a clear preview of the different hunting styles. The Aerial Style gives players the capability to jump as high as possible to attack the monsters above the land. The style also gives a chance to grab a monster and knock it down to the surface. The Guild Style is described as a "classic gameplay" for all existing 14 weapons that are reminiscent to the "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate." The Adept Style, on the other hand, gives rewards to players after they have mastered the fighting technique and behavior of their enemies through a special counterattack. The weapon type that the player uses at the present will determine what kind of tactical dodging and blocking options are applicable.

Lastly, the Striker Style is a flexible and effective hunting style which involves skill building until a very useful Hunter Art is released.

Nintendo Life reported that the digital version of "Monster Hunter Generations" will require quite a huge space in the players' memory drives as there is approximately 1.56 GB worth of storage, or 12,534 blocks.

While "Monster Hunter Generations" is expected to be released in the West this summer for Nintendo 3DS, an Amazon listing was reported to reveal a July 31 release of the game. However, this has yet to be either confirmed or denied by Capcom.
