'Modern Family' Spoilers, Plot News: Spanish Teacher Sparks Jealousy
More hilarity arises in the next episode of "Modern Family," which airs every Wednesdays at 9/8c on ABC.
Titled "Queer Eyes, Full Hearts," the episode will see Manny (Rico Rodriguez) getting Spanish lessons from a handsome teacher.
Featured in the promo clip of the episode, the introduction of the Spanish teacher Diego (Nicholas Gonzalez) will see Jay Pritchett (Ed O'Neill) getting jealous.
The clip sees Gloria Pritchett (Sofía Vergara) speaking her peculiar brand of English and overruling Manny's objections to studying Spanish, by saying "What could be more natural than your mother's tongue in your ear?"
This prompts Jay to ask Diego if he knows any good English teachers.
Jay soon becomes jealous of Manny's Spanish teacher. More comical situations result as Jay tries to use deception to handle his increasing ire. How this will affect his relationship with Gloria is explored in the episode.
The episode will feature a number of guest stars. The International Business Times notes that Adam DeVine will play Andy while Heather Mazur will play Anne.
Also in the episode, Michael Urie will play stylist Gavin Sinclair who is described as "entitled." In the upcoming eighth episode titled "Three Turkeys," he will interview Haley Dunphy (Sarah Hyland), who is thrilled to meet him.
"Three Turkeys," which has a Thanksgiving theme, will feature more lies in the family as Phil Dunphy (Ty Burrell) decides to cook the entire dinner. To get this done he recruits Luke Dunphy (Nolan Gould) as his assistant chef.
However, Claire Dunphy (Julie Bowen) doesn't believe he can get the job done right and so she cooks another turkey as a backup in case anything goes wrong.
Meanwhile Jay and Gloria plan a holiday trip without letting anyone in their family know, but eventually it falls through and they have to spend Thanksgiving with the others.
