'Modern Family' season 7 spoilers, plot news: Luke and Manny prepares for their first prom, Claire searches for the mole in the company

Hit American comedy series "Modern Family" season 7 recently had a short hiatus, but it will return to the small screen with an all-new episode this week. "Promposal" airs this Wednesday, and viewers are in for a treat as Luke (Nolan Gould) and Manny (Rico Rodriguez) goes to prom for the first time. As noted in the official synopsis, the two young men get ready for the special event and their uncles Cam (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) will be there to help them prepare.

According to the spoilers for "Promposal," the episode will revolve around the boys' prom and how they will ask girls for the event. As Luke and Manny plan on how to do the right prom proposal, uncles Mitch and Cam decide on helping them plan everything for the big day.
Cam's helpful personality usually gets the better of him, and while helping the boys, his repressed frustrations on his own prom will resurface. Given that Manny is an old soul, he will possibly help Cam get over his feelings.

On another note, Jay (Ed O'Neil) spends some time with his youngest son Joe (Jeremy Maguire) as they do handiwork which is one of Jay's hobbies. Since Jay's daughter Claire (Julie Bowen) and sons Mitch and Manny do not have the same interests, he hopes that it will be different for his toddler son Joe. As for Phil (Ty Burrell), he will help Gloria (Sofia Vergara) by becoming a vigilante after she finds out that her Auntie Alice (June Squibb) has been stealing her special recipe for hot sauce. Claire addresses some issues in her workplace after she realizes that a mole is in her company. What makes her even more stressed is the Closet-con which she has to prepare for as well.
