Baseball video game is never going to be the same again once the new "MLB The Show 16" arrives on Mar 29 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. According to reports, it will have some new exciting features, new visuals, and new roster update to the current records. Fans can definitely expect more once it hits the market anytime soon. However, there will be no version of the game for PS Vita this year, according to Gotta Be Mobile.

Toronto Blue Jays' third baseman, Josh Donaldson, will be this year's cover player of "MLB The Show 16". The 30-year-old American professional baseball has earned the spot because of his All-Star Game performance, wherein he receives the highest votes from fans of the league.

One of the features that will be included in the new installment will be called "ShowTime." In this feature, players are allowed to slow down the time to strategize end game plays. The feature also works for players to relish the home run moment during the game. This will surely work for fans to make the game more realistic. Nevertheless, gamers still have to wait for the new title to come out to see how "ShowTime" really works.

Meanwhile, gamers will certainly appreciate that the new title is also available on PlayStation3, especially for those who have not upgraded to PlayStation 4 yet. The two versions of the game for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 is said to have the same roll out, which is on Tuesday, Mar 29.

The game can be played right away if bought through the PlayStation Store. It can be pre-loaded and game will be available at midnight Eastern on Tuesday.

The "MLB The Show" is considered to be the most popular baseball game today. It also holds the distinction to be the only true baseball video game for any console.
