The latest news in the Minecraft PS4 and Xbox One world is that the popular game is going to get some nifty updates in the next week. These updates are in the form of patches that will fix existing bugs in the game that have been noticed since September.

Various sources have listed the bug fixes, reporting that among them is one that deals with tiles not being saved correctly which can lead to empty chests.

Also included are fixes for enchanted items not being able to destroy blocks quickly, improvements in frame rates of jungles and fixes for mobs being aggressive even when players are invisible.

Among the Play Station 4 specific fixes that are going to be released next week, one deals with the issue of save transfers not incorporating recent data about players. Another fixes the effect of the Lily pad breaking into particles.

Xbox One fixes include one for the Xbox 360 save transfer issue when users exit without saving completely on Xbox One. Another fix addresses the problem of pictures of gamers causing crashes. Breathecast is also reporting that the developers of Minecraft, 4J Studios tweeted that the next update to the open world game was named the "Horse Update".

While as seen above, the patches are for both Minecraft PS4 and Minecraft Xbox One versions, there is also a big update for console editions of the game that is coming up.

Inquisitr is reporting that all the console editions of the game will be moved to the Java 1.6.4 version. This next console update is set to include three updates namely Pretty Scary, Redstone and Horse Update which are already in the PC version. In the Horse Update Inquisitr notes that users will be able to tame horses, donkeys and ride them to other areas.
