Milwaukee Bucks trade rumors: Greg Monroe departure all the more evident

Greg Monroe has been included in trade talks since the summer and despite still being with the Milwaukee Bucks at the start of the season, it appears that his departure is all but a formality.

Most recently, the talks of moving "Moose" have resurfaced after Monroe's playing time dwindled this season.

Looking at their standings, the Bucks have struggled as they are at 5-7 and have lost their last three games.

While on their losing streak, they are slowly losing steam as they go against a tough Central Division. Many would think the Bucks should at least try to tinker with their lineup to see what could be a winning combination.

Unfortunately, it seems that Monroe is not a part of that rotation anymore as he has not been in action enough to make a difference.

In fact, in their 124-121 loss to the Golden State Warriors, Monroe only played two minutes and scored two points that night.

Many believed that Milwaukee's size and length could contend against the Warriors, but the management did not see Monroe as part of it, and it has now spurred talks that he may be heading out of the team sooner rather than later.

Looking at his stats, Monroe is a very capable player. In his career, he averages 14.4 points and 9.1 rebounds per game while shooting around 51 percent from the field.

This year, his numbers have dropped as he only averages 9.0 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. This has resulted in a poor shooting display at only 46 percent every night.

Monroe has played for two teams in his career, five with the Detroit Pistons and two with the Bucks. He was a regular starter for most of his career but has failed to make the starting lineup in the 2016-17 season. Expect him to move before the trade deadline closes.
