Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger Wedding: Dating Rumors Turn Into Marriage Claims

It's official: Miley Cyrus is dating Patrick Schwarzenegger, son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver of the Kennedy family. The official announcement came from Rory Kennedy, Patrick's aunt.

Hollywood Life, a celebrity website, even claimed that Patrick and Miley had already tied the knot in Miami just this month. However, the announcement made no mention of this.

The website reported that the wedding was a "last-minute affair." It said the couple had no time to shop for their wedding rings and had to use rolling paper made of 24k gold to produce the rings.

As to whether Aunt Rory likes Miley for her nephew, she only said that she's happy for them, but gave no further comment.

This wasn't the first time Rory had to comment about a celebrity dating someone from their family. In an interview with Us Weekly in 2012, she commented about Connor Kennedy dating Taylor Swift.

"I think she's fantastic. She's a good friend of our family and we all adore her and love her. It's great to have her around," Rory said at that time.

The news about Miley and Patrick dating first arose when the couple were seen together at a University of Southern California Trojans game. Patrick admitted that Miley was her longtime crush since 2011. In an interview with "Details," Patrick said his eyes had long been "set on Miley Cyrus."

The couple recently attended a party at the Art Besel with some Hollywood elites, including Eva Longoria, Leonardo DiCaprio and Paris Hilton.
