Microsoft Surface Pro 5 release date, price news: Mid-to-late 2016 launch date expected for new Surface Pro

The eagerly awaited release of the hybrid tablet, the Surface Pro 5, is said to be in June 2016 or October 2016. Although this has not been officially confirmed by Microsoft, fans and critics are quite sure that the launch will happen around that time.
There are also reports that the Surface Pro 5 will most likely cost as much as its predecessor, the Surface Pro 4. However, some rumors suggest that it will be slightly more expensive.
According to Times of India, the new device will start at $899. Upgraded models with added accessories will obviously have much higher prices. One model will actually have a price as high as $1,599. Some tech freaks may find this a bit more expensive for a Microsoft tablet but it is reported that the specs of this new hybrid table are very impressive.
Many customers were disappointment when the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 came out as the battery features have failed to meet people's expectations. Fans were unhappy and took their frustration to various tech forums online. One user that goes by the name of Angry_Mut on Reddit summed up everyone's frustration via a post on the popular forum.
"The battery life on my seems pretty horrendous, I recently run a test were I streamed a 8hrs 1080p video of a fire burning, to see how long my surface would last. My sp4 managed a pathetic 3:26 before dying which seems a fair bit lower than what I should be getting."
According to reports, Microsoft will develop a much improved battery for its new Surface Pro model.
Nevertheless, these are merely just speculations and until Microsoft releases an official statement with regard to the new model of the series, all information will remain rumors.
