Microsoft Surface Pro 5 has been all over the Internet with rumors and speculations that the upcoming device will be released before the year ends. Many fans might get disappointed as new rumors suggest that the hybrid tablet may not be available until next year.

According to reports, there are many reasons why the device is going to be delayed but the biggest factor would be because "Redstone 2" is not ready yet. "Redstone 2" is said to be the newest version of Windows 10 and one of the highlights of the new device.

Fans and critics believe that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will carry advanced features once it comes out. It is said to have better display, more powerful specs under the hood, and improved battery technology. Fans are also hoping that it will come with more ports than the current tablets today.

Aside from Windows 10 "Redstone 2" version, the device will be powered by the Kaby Lake processor. Previous rumors suggested that the Surface Pro 5 will come with Skylake or Cannonlake. The new processor, which is made from Intel, is said to have the 14nm nodes.

The battery feature of the device is said to let owners use their hybrid tablet for up to seven hours. The Surface pen will also be improved on this new Surface Pro 5. If rumors prove to be true, the Surface Pen will cone with an off/on button and an LED light.

Although there is no confirmation from Microsoft with regard to the Surface Pro 5, fans believe that the company will certainly release the device anytime soon. According to reports, it will have a price tag of $899 once it comes out on the market.

There are also reports suggesting that Microsoft might release the new Hybrid tablet with a slightly larger screen than expected.
