Microsoft Surface Book 2 reportedly to have June to October release date

Microsoft Surface Book 2 will reportedly be released in October, and if it would come a little earlier, will be slated for a June release. There are also rumors circulating over the internet that the upcoming tablets will feature Skylake Intel processor and Redstone 2 update of the Windows 10 operating system, according to a report from technology website Yibada.
The first Surface Book was launched by Microsoft on Oct. 6 last year that sported a 2-in-1 detachable design, the first device of its kind developed by Microsoft to be marketed as a laptop. It has a teardrop design and the "dynamic fulcrum" hinge that shifts the center of a gravity so that the top part or the "clipboard" will become more stable. During its release, the Surface Book was presented to become a competitor of Macintosh's Macbook Pro. It is not confirmed if Microsoft's Surface Book 2 will use the same features or remove the others.
As of now, Surface Book 2 is reported to be designed with 4K pixel resolution that will allow the users to stream 4K pixel videos even when the device is used in tablet mode.
Microsoft has yet to make an official announcement on the exact release date of Microsoft Surface Book 2, along with other similar devices they are developing at the meantime like the Microsoft Surface Pro 5.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is reportedly going to be launched along with Surface Book 2 anytime from July or October this year and it will also have the same features of the Surface Book 2: Intel's Skylake processor and Windows 10 Redstone 2. The success of the first Surface Book, Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro 4 is putting challenge on Microsoft developers to improve to next generation of gadget designs.
