Michael Schumacher health condition news update 2016: Ex-Ferrari president confident of Schumacher's condition, says he is already 'reacting'
It has now been more than two years since a terrible accident happened to Formula One legend Michael Schumacher when he was skiing in the Alps, and his condition remains a mystery to his fans and colleagues up until today.

Former Ferrari chief Luca di Montezemolo gave a press statement recently, and it seems like the racing icon's recovery is progressing positively. "I'm very pleased to know that he is reacting," di Montezemolo told CNN's The Circuit in his Rome office. However, he did not explain further on what he means by "reacting."
di Montezemolo's recent statement seems to be better than the previous update he gave last February, where he mentioned that the popular driver's health is "not good." He also stated that only Schumacher's will-power will help him get through this huge ordeal. "I know how strong he is," said Di Montezemolo, who has been Schumacher's boss for four years. "I'm sure that thanks to his determination—which will be crucial—he will come out from this very, very difficult situation ... And I really hope."
In an interview with CNN at the FIA, president Jean Todt recalled Schumacher's attitude as a friend and colleague, stating, "He was very talented, very hard-working and humble."
"I remember every new year before the championship started he was always asking me to do private testing alone to make sure he was still a good driver. This is a demonstration of how he was," said Todt.
As of now, Schumacher remains in his Switzerland estate under the care of medical experts who are present 24/7 to monitor his condition. His family decided to keep details about his health from the public for privacy reasons, and all fans can do now is pray for his recovery.
