Miami Heat trade rumors: Wade reveals reason for leaving the Heat

After a tumultuous NBA summer, the Miami Heat suddenly found themselves without Dwyane Wade for the first time since his arrival in the 2003–04 season.
The Heat were always spoiled with talent in the shooting guard position, with Wade having a stellar career with the team.
And now, after 13 seasons, Wade leaves behind a legacy that saw him earn three NBA championships and 12 straight All-Star appearances for the Heat.
How it went down was not a secret, with the Heat refusing to roll the dice on Wade to give him the amount of money he thought he deserved for serving the club.
As a result, he packed his bags and went back home, and he will now play with the Chicago Bulls for the 2016–17 season.
However, Heat Nation recently reported about the real reason why Wade decided to leave the Heat.
In an interview with "Good Morning America," Wade pointed out that the move he made was one that was outside the game of basketball, as he wanted to help the city of Chicago from a different standpoint.
Wade said: "My purpose for being back in the city is bigger than basketball. Basketball is a big part of it, of course; it's what I do for a living. But I think my purpose at the end of the day hopefully is to come to Chicago and be a part, be a voice that can help bring people together," as quoted by Heat Nation.
And it is now being seen on the news. Wade is now one of the most outspoken stars in the league when it comes to human rights and humanity's sake.
According to CBS Miami, Wade is now speaking his mind on different issues that need to be addressed in the city, with tougher gun laws as one of those issues in mind.
This time, Wade is speaking as the issue has hit close to home, with his cousin Nykea Aldridge was gunned down on the streets of Chicago.
It appears that Wade is not simply a basketball player, but knows how to use his influence to help the world be better. That is a calling that certainly everyone hope he can push through.
