Bioware's upcoming action third-person shooter video game will provide massive improvements to the franchise. The game is expected to be better than the preceding titles. More importantly, the forthcoming video game will feature a more polished version of the "Mass Effect" franchise.

Based on the recently released video, "Andromeda" will have 4K graphics. The game will bring to life the world of Andromeda by offering crisp visuals with high dynamic range lighting, HDR10 support (for Dolby Vision on PC), and the most lifelike characters the developers have ever created.

Bioware's general manager Aaryn Flynn recently teased the details about the gameplay in "Andromeda." He said, "Going to Andromeda is intended to, and will, invoke this incredible sense of wonder and incredible sense that everything right over the horizon is new to me. That's a rare feeling in our lives today, but I think when you look at people, we all crave that feeling. We all want it."

Flynn added, "One of the advantages of going to Andromeda is that it's a new galaxy so not everything is defined, and you wouldn't expect everything to look the same as it should back home."

Since the game will be exploring a different world, new races are expected to be introduced in the forthcoming game. Sources say that two new races will be important in the game. One is described as aggressive while the other is described as peaceful.

The upcoming installment will not feature Commander Shepard as a playable character. Instead, the main character in the game will be Ryder. Sources say that players can choose Ryder as a male or female character. At the E3 convention, Bioware reportedly revealed that the male and female Ryder will be siblings.

A new trailer should be out this November. "Mass Effect Andromeda" is expected to launch for the PC, PlayStation 4 consoles, and Xbox One consoles in early 2017.
