Virtual Reality is one of the biggest and newest things in the gaming scene. Hence, it comes as no surprise that popular games like "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and "Star Wars: Battlefront" have been given the VR treatment. However, not all game developers and publishers are joining the bandwagon. One good example is BioWare and its upcoming science-fiction video game, "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

In a recent interview with Stevivor this December, BioWare producer Michael Gamble revealed that a virtual reality add-on is not planned for the upcoming "Mass Effect" game.

"It would be cool," Gamble admitted. "All I would say is that we would never want to quote, unquote 'port' a Mass Effect game to VR. We would want to create a custom experience, if we were to ever do it," he went on to say.

Gamble stressed that "there's no plans right now to do" a virtual reality feature for "Mass Effect: Andromeda." The BioWare producer went on to add that, "if we were to do it, we would want to do a very custom-created experience."

There were also speculations suggesting that the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will also be coming to the much-awaited Xbox Project Scorpio, considering that the game has been given a PlayStation 4 Pro version. However, in another interview, Gamble revealed that BioWare has no current plans to make a Project Scorpio port for the upcoming "Mass Effect" game.

"For Scorpio, we have absolutely no plans right now," he told Stevivor. "You never know what'll happen after that," he added.

Gamble also quashed rumors that there are current plans to create a version of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" for the upcoming hybrid console Nintendo Switch. However, he didn't fully discount the possibility of considering the adaptation in the future.

"Yeah, not right now, no," Gamble said, adding, "We're not planning on it. If the Switch launches and everyone's just yammering for Mass Effect, who knows. We never want to close doors like that."

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is expected to be released for the Windows PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 sometime next year.
