'Major Crimes' season 5 episode 8 spoilers news: Team investigates on Hollywood star's msyterious death; Rusty deals with biological mother's pregnancy

Lieutenants Mike Tao (Michael Paul Chan) and Andy Flynn (Tony Denison) will probe on the untimely death of a young Hollywood star in the upcoming episode of TNT's procedural series "Major Crimes" season 5.
To recap, the previous episode saw the Major Crimes Unit (MCU) desperately tracking down Elliot Chase, a mentally-unstable former engineer who went on a shooting spree because of financial issues. Unfortunately, he killed himself before the team could even get him into custody.
Next week's episode will tackle yet another sensitive issue featuring a young life cut short because of drugs. In the episode titled "Off the Wagon," two officers from the MCU will investigate the mysterious and sudden death of a young Hollywood star named Chris Walker. As the story progresses, new information will lead the officers to believe that his death was pre-meditated and does not have anything to do with drug overdose at all.
In the promo clip for episode 8, a person close to Chris claims the celebrity was not high when he died. It was later revealed that Chris was planning a comeback before his life ended. "Chris was worth far more to me alive than he is dead," a woman who appears to be his agent tells the officers while being interrogated. The next scene cuts to Captain Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell) accusing a woman that the prescription medication she gave killed Chris. "Your prescription sent him straight to the morgue," she says.
The episode will also explore a side story featuring Rusty (Graham Patrick Martin) and his effort to deal with the unexpected pregnancy of his biological mother (Ever Carradine).
Guest stars include "Twin Peaks" actress Sherilyn Fenn as Chris' controlling manager and "Gone Girl" star Missi Pyle as his widow.
"Major Crimes" season 5 episode 8 airs on Monday, Aug. 15, at 10 p.m. on TNT.
