'Mafia 3' release date news: Title is set to arrive on Oct. 7

Fans of the action-adventure third-person shooter video game series, "Mafia," finally have something to get excited about following the recent announcement of its release.
According to Euro Gamer, the teaser video that was released by the game's publisher, 2K Games, made fans pretty excited. The third installment of the series, "Mafia 3," is said to be coming out on Oct. 7. The trailer video, which is titled "One Way Road Story," shows what fans can expect once the video game hits the shelves. Apparently, the game will be set in1960's in New Bordeaux, which focuses the life of ex-soldier, Lincoln Clay. Clay is said to be seeking revenge for the murder of all members of his gang.
Fans are certainly expecting more high-action gameplay, explosive scenes, more bloodshed, lots of vehicles and guns on the next title. The game is definitely for players who like action packed gameplay and they are hoping that "Mafia 3" can live up to the hype.
Meanwhile, according to "Mafia 3" official website, fans who decides to pre-order the game will receive freebies. "Mafia 3" will be released in three versions that include the standard variation, deluxe variation and the collector's edition of the game. According to the website, all three variations will come with Mafia 3 themed vehicles and weapons. Unfortunately for the fans who will decide to get the standard version, they will not have free season passes, which is only given to those who ordered the deluxe variation and the collector's edition of the game.
Game prices will also vary per version. The website has yet to provide specific pricing details for the standard version; however, the site listed the deluxe version at $79.99. The collector's edition of "Mafia 3" is priced at $149.99.
For fans who would want to take advantage of all the freebies including the season pass, they may want to start preordering before the game arrives.
