Madden 17 rumors, release date, features: NFL game to hit shelves soon

Fans are aching to get their hands on the latest installment of the Madden NFL game franchise, the Madden NFL 17. Rumor has it that the game will hit the shelves anytime soon.
As noted by Gottabemobile, it is only a few weeks from now when Electronic Arts usually gives an announcement with regards to updates about Madden. EA announced the launch date of the previous installment, Madden 16, on April 16 last year through the official Madden Blog. This is in line with the Madden 15 release date announcement which happened on April 28. With that, it is safe to say that this month will be very crucial for hardcore fans of the game because the wait starts now.
Furthermore, there is a high probability that EA will also give details on which consoles will Madden 17 be available in. Adding to the anticipation is a trailer which might be underway. Usually, the Madden games arrive late August based on the release date of the past five installments. Only Madden 11 deviated from the pattern, because it had a July release back then. The media outlet speculates that an Aug. 23 or 30 is in order for the Madden 17.
One of the most awaited parts of the game is the cover athlete, who varies every installment. No word yet on who will be featured on the cover for Madden 17 because EA usually allows fans to vote for their bet. The voting period is speculated to start early May and conclude at the end of the month. Gamers expect more than a simple roster update, so features play a crucial role in the game's arrival. According to Gazette Review, a feature to return in Madden 17 is the Ultimate Team game mode. By buying points in the Play Station or Xbox store, Ultimate Team card packs can be unlocked.
