A lot of Apple followers have been waiting for the developments of the anticipated new model of the MacBook Pro. However, Apple has not yet released any official statements or announcement confirming the arrival of the new Macbook units anytime soon. In spite of the tech giant keeping their mouth zipped amid the speculations, the rumors are rife that the next batch of Macbook Pro's will make an appearance during the Worldwide Developers Conference 2016 to be held next month.

If the rumors are true, attendees of the company's WWDC 2016 event will be up for a nice treat as Apple is expected to showcase the all-new MacBook Pro with its features and capabilities more powerful than the previous model. MacRumors reported that the MacBook Pro 2016 will be formally introduced to the public along with the other big surprises of Apple during the event, which will run from June 14 to 17. Aside from the new laptop model, the company is expected to showcase the new iOS 10 for the Apple smartphones. In terms of the laptop's operating system, it is rumored that the Mac OS will no longer be used in future MacBook units, including the MacBook Pro 2016. It is rumored that the new MacBook will now sport OS X 10.12, which will introduce the virtual assistant Siri in the MacBook.

Speaking of the laptop virtual assistant, it can be noted that Microsoft has first assigned a named virtual assistant for a laptop. With the new Windows 10 operating system, laptop users have been introduced to Microsoft's resident virtual assistant, Cortana. Apple is expected to follow this move with the inclusion of Siri in the new OS X 10.12 for MacBooks. Siri was first introduced to the public with the arrival of iPhone, and its appearance in MacBook Pro 2016 will be a first in Apple's laptop flagship.

The rumored unveiling on MacBook Pro 2016 next month will pit the new device against another rumored big launch in June in the form of Microsoft's Surface Book 2. There are reports that Microsoft is also planning to make a big reveal in June with the new Surface Book, although the company has yet to give an official confirmation.
