MacBook Pro 2016 release date, specs rumors: Apple to launch MacBook Pro in October?

As October progresses, the hype about Apple's newest baby, the MacBook Pro, is getting people on the edge with anticipation. One of the issues has to do with its monitor. Will it be detachable touchscreens? More likely, however, is the appearance of a small, OLED display to replace the MacBook Pro's function case. With this touch ID will come four USB-C ports, two on each side.
The biggest challenge to Apple, though, lies in its processor. Right now, the Mac trails its PC rivals in the processor department. Dell and HP are said to be upgrading to the seventh-generation Intel Kaby Lake processors this fall, while Apple stubbornly clings to the fifth-generation Broadwell chips.
There are persistent rumors, however, that this year's MacBook Pro will be using the sixth-generation Skylake chips to boost its speed across the board. Ten to 20 percent increase in speed appears to be likely. This in addition to a more powerful battery pack.
Skylake also supports WiGig and WiDi short-range, high-speed data transfers and wireless sharing. This does not mean that there will be a major change to wireless charging, although such an option can be pursued later by Apple.
People also expect Apple to upgrade its operating system. The macOS Sierra has not been finally updated yet. It is said to be going through beta testing. Next week a final beta version will be released. The release of the 10.12.1 update would accordingly coincide with the launch of the new hardware. If rumors are to be believed, the OS will complement the integration of the OLED touch bar.
So when will the company launch its latest baby? Mac sources claim that the launch date of the 2016 MacBook Pro could actually fall within the Oct. 24 week as Apple is known for launching its new MacBooks in late October.
