Previous reports suggest that Apple may launch a new MacBook Pro 2016 later this year. According to the reports, the upcoming laptop will no longer have function keys normally found at the top of the keyboard because it will be replaced with a touch OLED panel. Now, new reports show a leaked image of the device, which suggests that the previous rumors are true.

The leaked image of the MacBook Pro 2016 also suggests that Apple may have a new design for the laptop. Apparently, the device no longer has any connection ports found on all sides on its high-end models aside from the USB-C ports. The new design has garnered so much interest from many Apple fanatics all over the world.

Cult of Mac reported that the new laptop will now have an all-aluminum chassis. The photos obtained by the publication are said to be from a reliable source who is currently working with one of the manufacturing partners of Apple in China. It was previously predicted by tech analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities that the Cupertino-based company is planning to bring the Touch ID fingerprint sensor technology to their MacBook series.

Apple has yet to provide details with regard to the development of the laptop, much less its release date. However, fans have reasons to believe that the company is not going to play conservative in terms of designs and features on their upcoming releases. The competition is pretty tight nowadays and the goal of Apple is to reclaim its place in the tech industry.

The popular analyst also suggested that the upcoming laptop will be thinner and lighter than the previous releases. It will be interesting how fans will receive the laptop's new design.

Meanwhile, there are rumors circulating all over the Internet that the MacBook Pro 2016 will be launched in the last quarter of this year.
