It has been reported that current price discounts on the current 15-inch MacBook Pro laptops, suggesting that the Cupertino-based tech giant is already clearing the shelves before the arrival of the new MacBook Pro units. Also, analyst Ming Chi Kuo of the KGI Securities company has published a recent report stating that Apple is about to unveil the new design of the 13-inch and 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro laptops sometime during the fourth quarter of 2016. One major change in these new Macbook Pros is the noticeable thinner and lighter design of the units, Mac Rumors reported.

The 2016 MacBook Pros is rumored to sport an OLED display touch bar that will replace the usual physical function keys in laptops. There is a chance that the OLED touch panel will be made contextual for more convenient usage, where the buttons will change depending on the currently running application. Also, a special Touch ID button feature may also be introduced in the new MacBook Pro design, as well as the new USB-C port. To note, the USB-C port was already introduced in the previous 12-inch MacBook design as a way to make the laptop's design thinner.

Regarding the specs of the new MacBook Pro, there are rumors shared by Mobi Picker that Intel's latest integrated Skylake processor will be used to power up the Apple device. It has been a habit for Apple to use the latest Intel processors for their latest gadgets, so this claim may not be too far-fetched. There are also rumors that the 2016 MacPro will introduce Siri for the first time in Apple laptops. The latest MacBooks is reportedly getting a new operating system called the OS X 10.12, replacing the MacOS. The new OS X 10.12 is expected to feature Siri as the laptop's official virtual assistant, similar to Windows 10's Cortana.
