MacBook Pro 2016 release date, specs news: Price cut of older Pro's means launch expected soon
Apple has not yet released any official confirmation that the next iteration of the MacBook Pro will be launching this year. However, the rumors remain rife that the Cupertino-based tech giant is about to unveil the new laptops in the next few months. In fact, there are recent signs that the new MacBook Pro model is about to hit the markets' shelves soon.

A likely indication that a company is about to release their latest project is the apparent price cuts being applied to their previous products, which can be seen as an act of giving away the older products as brand new products are about to come in. Just recently, Apple has reportedly given the go signal to top US gadget resellers, B&H and Adorama, to offer price discounts for the 15-inch MacBook Pro.
Apple Insider reported that the buyers will be given $250 discount upon purchasing the current MacBook Pro model. Meanwhile, the 2015 MacBook Pro model with 16 GB RAM and 256 GB hard drive memory can now be purchased for $1,799.99 from B&H, while the higher MacBook Pro variant with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB memory now costs $2,098.00 if bought at Adorama. Aside from the price cuts, there is no shipping fee to be collected.
There are no confirmed reports yet about the specs of the new MacBook Pro. Apple did not give any mentions about the new MacBook laptops at the recently concluded Worldwide Developers Conference earlier this month, but according to rumors reported by MacRumors, the 2016 MacPro units will introduce Siri for the first time in Apple laptops. The latest MacBooks is reportedly getting a new operating system called the OS X 10.12, replacing the MacOS. The new OS X 10.12 is expected to feature Siri as the laptop's official virtual assistant, similar to Windows 10's Cortana.
Forbes also reported that the new MacBook Pro will sport an enhanced and more effective keyboard design. To make this happen, the laptop's current Butterfly keyboard style will be redesigned to make it thinner and have a larger surface area for the laptop user's convenience.
