MacBook Pro 2016 release date, specs latest news: Apple still undecided for device's processor; release slated for late October?

The 2016 MacBook Pro is one of the most anticipated flagship devices from Apple to arrive this year, and there are speculations that the tech giant will be releasing the state-of-the-art laptop sometime around October. Despite being on the pricey side, the MacBook Pro 2016 is worth buying because of its great features tech-savvy consumers will definitely love.

According to reports, the 2016 MacBook Pro will offer a sleeker physical built compared to its predecessor. KGI Securities Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo—who is known for his accurate predictions on upcoming devices—previously noted that this year's MacBook Pro will sport a much thinner chassis. Additionally, it will also have a flatter keyboard which makes it even more lightweight and perfect for individuals who are always on the go.

Moreover, the upcoming device will have a much longer battery life—a good feature for all users. Given its Intel Skylake processor, the flagship laptop will stay on for a longer period of time and require less power to run. Also worth noting is the possibility of Apple deciding to bump the battery capacity up.

There are speculations, however, that Apple remains undecided about the processor they will use for the 2016 MacBook Pro. Recent reports claim that the Cupertino-based company has not made any decision on which direction to take yet. If one thing is for certain, Apple will either use  6th or 7th generation chips to keep up with the latest devices.

One of the absolute game changers for the 2016 MacBook Pro is the OLED Touch Bar feature. Rumor has it that the said technology will sit atop the keyboard and will perform various tasks depending on the program being used.

The 2016 MacBook Pro will reportedly be released on Oct. 27, along with the new iMac.
