At the Apple event held last week, the tech giant launched new things about its latest devices and upcoming projects. However, the company skipped a few things that people wanted to know more about, such as the MacBook Pro 2016.

Apple revealed big changes for the iPhone 7 at the said launch. Sources said that the rumored MacBook Pro will be launched at next month's technical event.

The tech giant made a drastic change to the device's headphone jack, preventing users from connecting their standard earphones to the device. iPhone 7 users must use an adaptor to plug in their regular headphones or they could purchase Apple's brand new line of Air Pods.

Since these updates are not very impressive, many believe that the forthcoming MacBook Pro will not have significant upgrades either.

Sources said that Apple CEO Tim Cook teased the MacBook Pro 2016. Cook reportedly responded to an Apple fan's email and hinted at the features of the forthcoming laptop. The CEO even admitted that the device will be launched before the end of the year.

The rumor mill suggested that the device will boast a slimmer design. It will also have a lighter frame compared to its predecessors. It will have a flatter keyboard and will have shallower curves at the edges.

As previously reported, the device will have an OLED Touch bar, a new set of keys called the "Dynamic Function Row." The panel will be a small strip at the upper portion of the keyboard. The function keys will be shortcuts for tasks. The functions will allegedly adjust depending on the task at hand. However, the volume key will be permanent as well as the key that reveals all the functions.

Apple has yet to confirm the latest rumors about the MacBook Pro 2016. Fans should treat the recent updates as speculation until Apple decides to confirm the aforementioned rumors.
