Given that Fox's "Lucifer" is a TV adaptation of a popular comic book series, some fans are curious if the notable comic character Death of the Endless will be a part of the show. IN an interview with TV Line, writer Mike Costa explained how they conceptualize the introduction of characters from the comics. He mentioned that "a lot of it is a timing thing" and they don't want to rush things just for the sake of adding more faces in the lineup.
"Because the comic is so obviously totally supernatural, we want to be very careful ... that we don't just start throwing everything at the wall," Costa said: "When Uriel showed up, it was for a very specific reason, and it served a very strong dramatic purpose."
As a bonus scoop for fans, the publication also noted that Lucifer might be getting married around midseason. His Vegas getaway will reportedly take an unexpected turn when he returns with a former stripper who became his wife.
The second season of "Lucifer" airs every Monday night at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
